Charlie the Patterdale had his third session with our trainer, Brenna, yesterday

He struggles with pulling on a walk and is reactive to other people and dogs. We have been teaching him to loose lead walking around the house and into the garden.

We have also been playing the lead pressure game - where tension on the lead doesn't get him to go forward like it used to, so he has to come back into a heel to get to where he wants to go.

We have also worked on his impulse control and rewarding him when he hears/sees/smells something that triggers him outside - so he chooses to redirect back to his owner and get a tasty treat rather than fixate on the trigger.

He is doing amazing!
