When I realised I had an issue with my lurcher Charlie with him being reactive towards other dogs my heart felt heavy and thought it would always be that way, but a friend recommended the South Shields dog trainers which was also backed up by a lurcher group and I can’t say I’ve been disappointed with the outcome. I met with Nathan for my first session with fear of what to expect and I was put at ease straight away and Charlie loved him, so did my other dog Archie who got to spend lots of time with Nathan also so both have benefited from the calm way he instructs you and makes it seem like you’re just chatting so not only putting the dogs at ease but me also. As my sessions have continued I’ve seen the confidence in Charlie grow, I rarely get a reaction from him when we pass another dog except for him looking to me to for being a good boy (and his treat) which has been so well deserved he’s so much more relaxed and his tail is now up most of the time we are out now and I couldn’t have done it without Nathan at the South Shields dog trainer they are my stars and I know they are there if I need help in the future.

Just had my final session with Nathan and would really recommend! My dog is reactive to other dogs but with Nathans help, I’ve really seen a huge difference and walking him has become fun again. Most importantly, I have been given my confidence back and for that, I’m grateful!

Still working our way through Nala's 1 to 1 training but she's improved massively thanks to Sarah's help and recommendations! She's helped me with Nala soo much and we now have a brilliant relationship where my huge excited pup walks to heel and is learning to recall among other things! Honestly can't recommend her enough!

I think the training was fun for both the dogs and the handlers. Learning through playing is great. Both our pups have really developed since attending puppy training. Nathan has been really brilliant in what has been the most trying of circumstances. Helpful, sharing wisdom and experience really enhanced the training. Access to the online training has also helped so I would thoroughly recommend Nathan to anyone looking for dog training.

Very professional yet really friendly trainer. Following the initial assessment of my dog a bespoke training programme was introduced and was constantly reviewed and assessed. Great improvements have been made with my dogs behaviour which i thought were not possible. I would definitely recommend Nathan, he has great knowledge of aspects of a dogs behaviour and how best to develop the dog in the best possible way.
