Candy the Labrador

Jaake has been back to Washington to see how Candy has been getting on with her loose lead walking.

This was Candy’s 3rd session and she absolutely smashed her training today.

Previously Candy would pull strongly on the lead, making it difficult to walk her. In earlier sessions, we worked on some loose lead foundation exercises and looked at building engagement.

Today was all about putting it all together and it couldn’t have gone any better. Candy walked perfectly on the lead for 3 different handlers for the duration of her walk. She was even starting to bring herself back into position before the lead was going tight.

Well done team Candy. Amazing work.
