Back to see Kobe, who is on his way to becoming a rescue success story! This was a short session to ensure Kobe is progressing in the right direction. Initially, Kobe struggled with training, refusing to take treats from his owner whenever there was any pressure to perform.
We started with basic training, making it stress-free by throwing the food away and rewarding him when he looked back and checked in. However, once outside, Kobe becomes laser-focused on moving forward, pulling on the lead, and refusing to turn around, making him challenging to handle.
To help with this, we introduced loose-lead walking, and with time, Kobe has become much more confident with his owner, happily taking treats and doing well during his walks. Today, Kobe reached the farthest distance he's ever gone on a walk—an incredible achievement!
