Willow Learning to Chill!

Updated: Dec 10, 2024

Today, we went back for Willow's second training session at Seaburn, and wow, what a difference! Willow, who can be nervous around people and dogs, is learning to overcome her challenges. She gets over-excited when seeing other dogs and sometimes stalks or reacts to them, especially off-lead.

When we arrived, she instantly recognised me, ran over, and jumped up, full of excitement. It was such a lovely moment!

Willow is making amazing progress with her reactivity. She can now ignore most dogs or be called away from them. Her biggest challenge is off-lead dogs chasing balls or running around, but today, we focused on helping her make great choices in those moments.

We worked on getting her to automatically look back at her owners when she sees a dog without needing to be prompted. By keeping the off-lead dogs at a comfortable distance, Willow could succeed and was heavily rewarded and praised when she made the right choices.

By the end of the session, she was calmly watching a little cockapoo chase a ball, disengaging on her own and looking back to her owners for treats!

Her owners have put in so much hard work, and it’s paying off brilliantly. Willow is doing fantastically well. Well done, team Willow!

Willow learning to chill is such a wholesome vibe! It’s refreshing to see moments like these where we just pause and appreciate simple joys. Honestly, finding that balance between chaos and calm is underrated, whether you’re a kid or knee-deep in responsibilities. It kinda reminds me of what it feels like tackling those intense uni deadlines—especially coding tasks that don’t exactly “chill” with you. That's where I found a strange comfort too, like Willow's, when I stumbled upon coding assignment help by MyAssignmentHelp. It’s like having a support system when the code just won’t cooperate. Just like Willow learning to embrace the slow and steady, having someone guide you through those tricky assignments makes the whole process a lot less…
