Our trainer Jaake has been over at Herrington Park for a couple of sessions. First up was Forest, a 3-year-old German Shepherd x Husky. This was Forest’s second session.
We were called in to work with Forest and his family after they recently moved to the Northeast and were struggling with his lead pulling, overexcitement around other dogs, and his lack of engagement when outside.
In our first session, we set Forest and his family up with some foundational exercises and looked at how to build engagement with him in busy environments.
Forest absolutely smashed his session; he was engaging beautifully with his owners and was really switched on to training in what was a busy environment where we could still give him the space he needed to think straight.
Well done for Team Forest. Excellent work.
