Murphy

Jaake has been in South Shields today to see Murphy (Greyhound x Whippet) for his 1st session.

Murphy has only been in his new home for a few months so is still settling in. He can get over-excited in the presence of other dogs (which we will work on in future sessions) and in the home, he is jumping up and mouthing quite hard when over-aroused.

Today we looked at what is reinforcing the jumping up and teaching him alternative behaviours, along with some other foundation training, which he absolutely nailed.

Murphy’s owners have already been doing some nice work and with the additional help Murphy will make awesome progress, he is such a lovely dog.
