Team Tyson

I (Jaake) have been to see Tyson (American XL Bully) today for his 6th and final session in North Shields.

It has been a couple of months since I last saw Tyson and it was awesome to see him. Such a big friendly boy who I am really going to miss working with.
Tyson has gone from strength to strength with his training. When I first met him he had become very difficult to handle and his owner was finding it difficult to walk him due to his size, strength, and over-eagerness to be friends with everyone.
Tyson’s owners have put in a lot of work to improve this and over the sessions, we have worked on loose lead walking, over-excitement around other dogs, recall, and impulse control along with some other obedience training.
Tyson’s owners now have excellent handling and training skills and the confidence to enjoy stress-free walks.
Well done Team Tyson, you have been a pleasure to work with.

What a fantastic transformation! Tyson's progress is a testament to the dedication of both his owners and the training team. It's great to see how consistent work on loose lead walking, recall, impulse control, and managing excitement around other dogs has led to calmer, more enjoyable walks. I came across this after playing Melon Sandbox, a physics-based sandbox game, and I always appreciate success stories that highlight the value of patient, positive dog training.
