This is Wilfred, the 6-month-old Doberman. He’s a bit naughty and that has recently got him into a lot of trouble.
When people are over at the house, or he is over at there’s and it’s busy, he finds things to eat.
This has led to 2 operations and 1 forced throw-up.
This is Wilfreds last chance, as vets will be unable to operate safely in the same area again.
Today we taught Wilfred a good “Leave” cue so that he will leave when told.
More importantly, we taught him to relax in a bed at busy times, to stop him from attention-seeking and getting wound up.
These, paired with some basic management, should be enough to keep Wilfred away from the vets.
