Zazu can get startled very easily, and he gets worked up around people when he doesn't know their intentions.
This week was the 2nd session with Denise and this session we focused on introducing triggers in the background when working on pattern games. Pattern games are a fantastic way to allow dogs to process what's going on in the environment without focusing too heavily on the presence of a trigger.
So for Zazu, this was getting used to seeing visitors moving around and teaching him an appropriate way to deal with strangers.
Everyone did fantastic and even managed to get out the door without being told off for leaving.
