Another Day Another Doberman

Updated: Sep 22, 2021

We’ve been over to Sunderland to see Theo.

He’s a pretty big Dobbie with a really bad habit of jumping up at everyone he meets. He’s also a complete sex pest with other dogs.

Theo was super fun to work with and loved the training.

We sorted out his loose leash walking, recall, running off to other dogs and people, and supercharged his sit and hand touch as alternative behaviors to jumping up.

Theo’s favorite game was the counting game. This is where you count out loud and put a treat on the floor every time you say a number. This stops your recall cue from being ignored, boosts engagement, and removes all frustration from trying to call your dog and them ignoring it.

Also, this works with 100% of dogs from your very first repetition

Theo still has a way to go to cement these new behaviors, but he’s mint and will do awesome!

Well done guys
