Yesterday was also Dan's last session, originally his owners got in touch because when he saw other dogs on walks he would start barking and spinning and would constantly pull on his lead.
His owners have done a lot of work putting everything together and Dan has completely changed. Even his Doggy Day Care said he went from the naughtiest pup to the best behaved.
We taught Dan a With me cue using a clicker for loose lead walking.
Desensitised him to other dogs by teaching him to engage and disengage, also using a clicker.
Taught him how to greet other dogs appropriately without trying to play with them.
Even managed to polish it off by working on an offlead heel when he sees other dogs offlead
Overall his complete temperament has changed and he's a lot more attentive and content on walks instead of being stressed or over-excited. He no longer pulls his owner over and for the most part, doesn't batter an eyelid when he sees other dogs.
Well done Dan & Co!
