Poppy is a #shihtzu cross #pomeranian who is terrified of people.
She will try to hide from them or bark and lunge towards them at around 5 meters away.
Unfortunately, 1 person didn’t read her clear body language and took a bite on the finger, which is when I was called in.
Poppy has probably been one of the most receptive dogs I’ve ever worked with, she very quickly started to learn that people appearing predicted good stuff. She was also comfortable with me being present (as you can see in the photo) to the point where she was happily taking food from my hand.
There’s still plenty of work left to do with this little girl, but when you love chicken as much as her, training doesn’t take long!
