The golden boy Ozzy

Back in Sunderland for Ozzy the golden retriever who’s just lovely, exactly what most golden retrievers are.

He pulled on the lead a bit, which we’ve pretty much sorted out unless he’s going over the road to the park where he likes to pull. He can be a bit reactive to other dogs, but he’s just frustrated due to not being able to run to them and play.

We’ve started working on his recall a bit there so he’s not running over to other dogs and then we can counter condition from there, meaning that when Ozzy sees a dog, we call him back and he gets a bit of food, which eventually will be an automatic response to seeing another dog in the distance.
